Gary Franklin Off the Board; Headed to Cal

Gary Franklin, Jr., one of the players covered in our State of the 2010 Recruiting Class post, has committed to Cal. /

Although Washington was thought to be in the hunt, I hadn’t seen or heard anything recently to suggest that we’d been recruiting him heavily at all. This makes sense since our guard rotation is both talented and crowded at this point, and attention still seems to be firmly focused on Josh Smith and Terrence Jones.
