Top Recruit Alex Kirk Reveals Where UW Stands

I caught up very briefly with Alex Kirk, listed in our State of the 2010 Recruiting Class as being loosely tied to UW. We listed him because Rivals.com’s recruiting site lists UW as having offered the 6’10”, top-15 center a scholarship. Turns out that this isn’t the case. /

Alex told us this week that UW has never talked to him. So, obviously, we’re not on his list at all at this point, pointing even further to the huge win it would be to sign true big man Josh Smith, or power forward Terrence Jones.
