Tiny Recruiting Update

Yesterday, I mentioned Stephen Holt, a 6’3″ guard from Jesuit HS in Portland, as being loosely tied to UW as a possible recruiting target. Well, not 24 hours after I wrote that, Holt committed to St. Mary’s and will be a Gael next season. (Thanks to Jim from Husky Digest for pointing this out today!) /

Holt was among that group of second- or third-tier guys that I expect Coach Romar to begin courting more seriously if we lose out on Josh Smith and Terrence Jones.

Plenty of others to go after, so long as we don’t wait too long to shift our focus from the very biggest fish in our sea, Smith and Jones, to some of the still-terrific other options.
