The Morning Haul: 10/11

Walking to class through Red Square today I happened upon the massive ESPN College GameDay setup, and it reminded me that now is a wonderful time to be a student and a football fan at the University of Washington, or even to be involved with the program at all. Sure, the Huskies have been bad or mediocre for almost my entire life, but the rebuilding effort is bearing fruit just in time. Not only in time for me to see Washington succeed during my time as a student, but in time for covering the team on this site to be much more exciting. A successful team is simply more enjoyable to write about, and even if the Huskies lose to Oregon tomorrow, it looks like I’ll be writing about a lot more wins than losses in the years to come.
