Season Grade: A

Drafted in the third round two years ago, Foster has done nothing but impress in the pros. He collected 84 tackles in his rookie campaign and only improved during his sophomore season.

His best game of the season came in week two when he collected 13 tackles and got his second career interception. He also finished the season on a high note when he made 12 tackles against the No. 1 seed Falcons. The only game in which he made less than five tackles was in a week 14 loss to the Eagles. He led the team in tackles in five of their 16 games. As their starting middle linebacker, the Bucs would like to see a little more constancy, something for Foster to work on in season three.

Foster finished the season with 105 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and two sacks. While he is not quite at the level of NaVorro Bowman or London Fletcher, Foster has become the anchor of the Bucs defense for years to come. Based on his improvement from year one to two, there is nothing suggesting that he won’t keep getting better.
