The Morning Haul: 11/5

Interesting to see that Max Redfield, the 2nd ranked player of the 2013 class in California and the 31st player in the country, has decommitted from USC. He will be taking an official visit to UW on this weekend, though Oregon, Notre Dame, and several other schools are possibilities as well. After the Trojans were defeated by Oregon this week, it seems like it is beginning to have an effect on recruiting. Eddie Vanderdoes, a current USC verbal commit and five-star prospect, will also be visiting Washington soon. Imagine two top-flight recruits flipping from USC to Washington? Not necessarily likely, but now perfectly possible.

Good to see that the Huskies are favored by 2 over Utah because I think it’s an accurate assessment of the situation. Utah has looked better lately, so it will probably be close, but Washington is a very potent team at home.

Another 7:30 night game against Utah this Saturday. It’s really bizarre how often this games have been at night this year.
