The Morning Haul: 9/22

facebooktwitterreddit

Good morning everyone. I’m starting to get used to the idea that Seattle is my home, now that I’ve woken up in my dorm twice. Although the weather has always said that the period of time from 9/20-9/30 was supposed to be mostly sunny, it has been overcast yesterday and today, with occasional rain. That seems fitting, and to be honest, I’m not upset by it. When I’m starting school, I don’t want to be in basketball shorts because it’s 80 degrees. I want jeans and a sweatshirt. Maybe that’s just what happens to you when you grow up in the Northwest, or maybe I’m just weird.

As far as football goes, it’s game day, though of course not for the Huskies, as they have a bye this week before next Thursday’s home game against Stanford. Considering the lack of real Washington news, you can count on coverage of anything big that happens in the Pac-12 as a whole today. And remember, I called that Oregon would lose to Arizona. If you’re confused as to what I really mean to that, just know that if I was wrong and Oregon gets an easy win, forget anything I’ve said and don’t criticize me for being brave. If Arizona wins, crown me the oracle and shower me in gifts. Does that seem a little too convenient for me? Well, too bad.
