Preview: This is the type of series that the Huskies have to dominate. Saint Josephs has been less than stellar so far this year; they have been outscored 32-21 so far this season and are yet to face a good opponent. They were most recently swept by East Tennessee State.

Anything less than a series sweep for Washington will be a disappointment, especially since they are at home. The Huskies need to make sure that they don’t come off a series win against a good UC Irvine team and look past the Hawks though. The Huskies have already dropped a home game to a lesser team when they lost to Seattle U last week, so nothing is automatic.

Aaron West, who has allowed just one earned run in eleven innings of work will probably get the start for purple and gold on Friday. George Asmus will start the first game on Saturday, and Austin Voth, who is coming off a decent start at Irvine, will get the call for the backend of the Saturday double header. It appears that Mac Acker will get his first start of the season on Sunday. If the Huskies play like they should, they will be leaving the weekend with a 9-3 record.
