Nick Holt, Jeff Mills, Mike Cox – Fired by UW

The rumors were swirling yesterday when a preliminary report came out that Nick Holt and Jeff Mills had been fired by the University of Washington. However, later in the day, Holt told Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times that he “it was news to him” and he planned to be the Defensive Coordinator for the Huskies again in 2012.
However, Head Coach Steve Sarkisian refused to comment on the situation and thus many assumed the process may have already been started. Today the rumors were confirmed that Nick Holt had been fired. Jeff Mills and Mike Cox were also shown the door.

This begins a coaching search for the University of Washington and many assume it will start with Ken Norton Jr. and Rocky Seto.
