One goes by the name of HuskyLenz and the other has been a frequent guest poster but has moved to being on board as a staff writer, Carl Munson. Therefore, make sure you pay attention to the blog because there will be many days which include multiple posts a day. ALL THE BETTER FOR YOU!

UW Football has added 3 different recruits in the last 24 hours; Dwayne Washington, Nathan Dean, and Damontae Kazee. Here is a little bit about each of them:

  • Dwayne Washington– A Wide-Receiver out of Cerritos, California is listed as a 3-star wideout by ESPN recruiting but neither Scout or Rivals have given him a rank. He is a speedster and is known more for what he can do with his feet than what he can do with his hands. He is the type of receiver you want to get into space and has the ability to cause defenders to miss. In man-to-man defenses he is a real threat.
  • Nathan Dean- Recently, I did a story on the top lineman in the state, Dean made the list. He is one of the top guards in the state and has already filled out a frame that could be playing at the next level. He is listed as 6’5, 270 pounds and is known for holding his blocks. He is hopefully the first of many recruits that sign in the state.
  • Damontae Kazee- This is a weird situation because Kazee has been committed to UW for a couple of months but has kept quiet about it. But he has finally come out and told Scout.com’s Brandon Huffman that he has committed to UW just today. Kazee is a unranked cornerback that seems to fit the Nick Holt mold in a corner, size-wise. He is listed at 5’11, 170. San Berdardino Prep Sports had him listed on the all-area team.
