Aaron Dotson has Signed with Utah

I spoke with Aaron Dotson today and he has confirmed that yesterday he signed with the Utah Utes. Dotson, a Seattle native and a former Rainier Beach High School star, was looking to find a home in the Pac-12 and was reported originally interested in the University of Washington. However, UW was already very guard heavy for a few years to come. He was looking for a team to make an immediate impact at, even though due to his transfer from LSU will have to sit out a year.

Dotson was not interested in any D-2 schools and mainly focused on the primer colleges in the major conferences where he could make an splash as a starter going into his junior year eligibility. Utah seems to be the perfect fit.

Aaron Dotson had his list narrowed down to just a few schools between Utah, Colorado, and Gonzaga but decided on Utah a program that is trying to build up some basketball creditability and could use the play-making ability of Dotson. A great pick-up by the future Pac-12 university.
